Loop Dungeon - Incremental · published
Adventurers, I can finally share the news!
From the very first idea, to releasing the demo, to countless rounds of tweaking, testing, and polishing… this journey has taken quite a bit longer than I originally expected.
But now I can finally say:
The full game is almost here!
There will also be a 10% launch discount when the game releases, so I hope you'll come back and start a new loop with me!
Since the demo launched, more than 8,500 players have tried Loop Dungeon - Incremental.
The median playtime is 1 hour and 25 minutes, and the game has now reached 5,500+ wishlists.
As a solo indie developer, seeing these numbers honestly means a lot to me.
Seeing players spend their time in this little dungeon, trying different heroes and skill combinations, and going through loop after loop… it has been one of the biggest motivations for me to keep working on the game.
I also want to give a huge thank you to all the streamers and content creators who made videos, streams, and other content around the demo!
Your support helped more players discover the game, and it was incredibly fun to see how different players approached Loop Dungeon - Incremental.
Here are some of the demo videos created by the community ❤️

And there is one more person I would especially like to thank — mr_kazar.
He helped me complete the French localization for the game, making it much easier and more natural for French-speaking players to enjoy Loop Dungeon - Incremental.
Thank you so much for your help and support! 🇫🇷❤️
I know this is probably one of the biggest questions for anyone who has already played the demo:
“What happens to my progress?”
Here's how it works:
Because the game went through some major changes during development, save files from Demo versions before 0.9.0 cannot be directly transferred to the full game.
However, I've added a one-time migration system.
Based on your progress in the pre-0.9.0 demo, the game will give you a certain amount of resource compensation.
When your old demo save is detected, you'll have two choices:
Claim the compensation and start a new game
or
Skip the compensation and start a completely new game
This choice will only appear once.
If you're using Demo version 0.9.0 or later, your save can be fully transferred to the full game.
When you launch the full game for the first time, it will automatically check for a save from a compatible demo version.
If one is found, you'll have two choices:
Transfer your full demo progress
or
Start a new game
If you choose to transfer your save, your demo progress will carry over completely.
And don't worry about what happens afterward:
this is a one-time transfer.
Once your progress has been transferred to the full game, continuing to play the demo afterward will not affect your full-game save.
I hope this makes the transition from the demo to the full game as smooth as possible for everyone who has been with me along the way.
The full release isn't just the demo, but bigger.
I've added more heroes, more skills, more bosses, more levels, and quite a few things that I'm not ready to spoil yet.
The Rogue is a damage-focused hero with a unique Blink Attack.
She can quickly close the distance to enemies and deal a large amount of damage.
If your favorite way of solving a problem is simply dealing a lot of damage—
the Rogue might be your kind of hero. 😎
The Priest is also getting a brand-new skill: Activate.
When combined with the skills of other heroes, it can create some surprisingly powerful and unexpected interactions.
I'll leave it to you to discover the combinations yourself. 😉
And that's not all.
There are more heroes, more skills, more bosses, more levels, and a few other things I'm keeping secret for now.
Once you enter the full game, you might discover completely new combinations and playstyles of your own.
This game started as a small idea, and now it's finally getting ready to meet everyone.
There were plenty of moments along the way when I had no idea how many people would actually want to play it.
So every player who tried the demo, shared feedback, added the game to their wishlist, made a video, streamed it, or helped with localization means a lot to me.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
I'll see you on October 19.
A new loop is about to begin. ❤️
If you haven't already, consider adding Loop Dungeon - Incremental to your Steam wishlist.
See you in the dungeon!
