Update 1.8.0.0 - Evidence Submission System, Character Overhaul & Reputation

⚖️ New Trial Mechanics

- Evidence is no longer revealed upfront. During the trial, the prosecutor
or defense will shout "Objection!" and submit new evidence — as the
presiding judge, you review it in full before deciding whether to admit
or reject it. Only admitted evidence appears in the Evidence list.
- Detailed evidence viewing completed for all 55 cases (review reconstructed
CCTV footage, National Forensic Service reports, handwritten notes and
chat logs in full)
- Added a line where the judge announces "Now, I will pronounce the
sentence" before choosing the sentencing type
- More variety in random events: defendant courtroom outbursts, surprise
witnesses, and prosecution evidence-handling controversies now occur
at random

🎖️ Reputation & Career Progression

- Added a Reputation system (0-100) that rises and falls based on your
sentencing record. Fair rulings raise it; unjust rulings that draw
public suspicion sharply lower it.
- Falling reputation can demote your rank; rebuilding a track record of
good rulings restores it.

🎨 Characters & Visuals

- Redrew the defense attorney, defendant, and prosecutor sprites at double
resolution, adding eyebrows, ears, nose shading, and mood-specific mouth
shapes.
- Updated the prosecutor's robe to match the real Korean prosecutor's
uniform: black body and sleeves with a purple front panel bearing the
prosecution's emblem.
- Redrew the courtroom background with a bright, realistic wood-tone look.
- Modernized all button UI with rounded corners and smooth animations.
- Shrunk the attorney/defendant/prosecutor nameplates and enlarged the
dialogue text.

🔊 Sound

- Added a separate volume slider dedicated to background music.
- Trimmed the menu click sound effect precisely and scoped it to menu
navigation only (silent during trials).

⌨️ Quality of Life

- Added spacebar support for advancing dialogue.

Thanks for playing!

Enlarged text on the Objection screen, the Final Verdict screen, and the Sentencing Complete screen on wide PC displays. 2. Fixed intermittent background music dropouts during sentencing, caused by background renderer throttling when the window lost focus. 3. Lengthened the defendant's final statement. The paper-reading variant gained an extra line, and a new rare variant (about 8 percent ch…Game update16 Sep 2026Mini Court Patch Notes v1.18.1.01. Redesigned the Objection! screen into a two column layout on wide PC screens: the left side shows the title through the argument review prompt in larger text, and the right side shows the evidence photo or video, all visible without scrolling. Narrow screens keep the original stacked layout. 2. The Evidence list, Evidence detail, and Summary screens can now be closed with the ESC key, matchi…
