Since the NODE ZERO Demo launched on July 24, Static State has been working on a focused collection of usability improvements, presentation changes, and bug fixes. Version 0.2.1 is now available to download.
Added copy and paste controls for frequently referenced system data.
Cache IDs, node routes, session IDs, user references, and automation references can now be copied directly from the client.
Added paste controls to supported Console and User Directory inputs.
Automation references now require their exact case-sensitive format, such as:
automation halt #07
Streamlined the Proof startup sequence. The Proof-title screen now focuses exclusively on presenting the current Proof, while loading progress and system status appear during the following node-initialization screen.
Removed the NODE CLIENT power-on and self-test sequence from regular Proof and replay loading. It is now reserved exclusively for the original Initialization Process.
Added Discord Rich Presence support, displaying the current NODE ZERO Demo activity, assistance mode, and replay status.
Updated the demo application icon with the new NODE ZERO branding.
Fixed the bottom-right Client Route displaying US EAST during Proof 1 while the operator was connected to US-WEST-02.
Fixed incident timestamps occasionally appearing out of alignment with their corresponding Audit Log entries.
Fixed the GUIDED assistance option not displaying its intended orange hover and selected states when starting a new run after completing Initial Access.
Fixed Shift Relay transcripts remaining over active gameplay after the relay finished. If the transcript is still open when the relay ends, Proof runtime now waits until the player selects RETURN TO RELAY before incidents, timers, Stability drain, and other gameplay systems begin.
Fixed an issue where the Initial Access purge session could still be accessed during numbered Proofs, allowing the active Proof to end incorrectly while incidents continued running.
The next demo update will focus more on community suggestions. If you are not in our Discord community, join it through the NODE ZERO store page.
Thank you to everyone who has played the demo, shared feedback, reported issues, or followed the development of NODE ZERO.
