The big day: By My Side is now version 1.0 — thank you to everyone who joined us through Early Access and shaped the game with your feedback! You can now see the version in the main menu (important for co-op: both players need the same version).
🔌 Power & Water — Finally Clear
- Holding a cable or hose makes all connectable devices glow (gold = power, blue = water), with step-by-step prompts: look at a device → → walk to the target → .
- Underground routing is now shown at every step of laying — no more hidden option.
- The demo's step-by-step help named a wrong key — fixed.
🚧 Fence Preview
When placing a post, the ghost now shows preview rails to the neighbouring post — you instantly see whether your fence will connect. Too far apart? The game now tells you. (Thanks for the forum report! 🙌)
