It’s been quiet for a while, but now we have some big news for you!
You will be able to play Airsoft Online again very soon, as the Open Beta is set to start later today on Thursday, October 8!
The Open Beta of Airsoft Online is planned to start on October 8, ten days before the upcoming Steam Next Fest. You will be able to play the game from this date until the end of Steam Next Fest. We hope to welcome many new players during Steam Next Fest, which runs from October 19 to October 26.
You can help us by reporting bugs early on and, especially, by playing the game during Steam Next Fest. Your feedback and support will be incredibly valuable to us as we continue improving Airsoft Online. The Alpha will no longer be available as a Steam Playtest. Instead, you will be able to download and play the Demo for free directly from our Steam page later today.
With the Open Beta, the first iteration of the all-new Loadout Editor is coming to the game! You will now be able to create your own custom loadouts.
This includes weapons, attachments such as sights, internal tuning parts, as well as character customization. This is just the first version of the Loadout Editor, and we’re excited to see what kinds of setups you’ll create!
We are also bringing an Offline Shooting Range to the game with this update. This allows you to test your weapons and loadouts directly without the need to join a multiplayer server. It’s the perfect place to try out different setups, test attachments, and get familiar with your equipment before heading into a match. We’re excited to finally have you back in the game and can’t wait to see you on the playfield!
Before the release of Airsoft Online, there will be another major change alongside many new additions. We are working on enabling players to unlock items in an in-game shop inspired by real airsoft shops. The shop will offer weapons, BBs, upgrade parts, and visual customization options. Items will be purchased using a currency earned by playing multiplayer matches. Purchases with real money are not planned. Unlocking certain items and weapons may require a specific player level, meaning that not every weapon can be acquired from the beginning.
