Thank you so much for playing and enjoying MEGAKO☆PUNCH!
We’re currently working hard on the v1.1.0 update.
We’re planning to release v1.1.0 in early September, and since there’s still a little time before the update arrives, we wanted to give you a sneak peek at what’s coming!
v1.1.0 will add new content to make MEGAKO☆PUNCH! even more fun to play!
After clearing Endless Mode Lv. 3, you’ll unlock a new stage called “Fight the Nightmare”!
In “Fight the Nightmare,” you can bring your completed deck into battle against the powerful boss “???”.
This boss has several unique behaviors, including the ability to revive no matter how many times you defeat it!
When Megako’s HP reaches 0, the boss will retreat, and the battle will end.
The results screen will record how much damage you dealt to “???”.
Bring your completed deck and see how much damage you can deal to the boss!
After clearing the Story, “Carry-In Items” will be unlocked!
Once “Carry-In Items” are unlocked, you’ll be able to bring one special item with you for each mission.
Spend “Coins” to unlock Items.
(Previously unlocked Steam achievements will also carry over to the in-game achievement system!)
Carry-In Items come in all kinds of varieties, from powerful items that greatly boost your abilities to ones with unique quirks.
Here’s a sneak peek at a few of them!
The Badge of Courage is a powerful item that increases the ATK of all cards by 1.5x just by equipping it!
The downside is that you’ll receive a new status effect called “No Plan” for 5 turns at the start of each battle.
While “No Plan” is active, you won’t be able to return cards from the field to your hand...!
Simply having the Heart Vessel equipped increases your Max HP to 50!
On top of that, you’ll recover 1 HP for each Energy you have left at the end of each Plan Phase!
Take your time, play the long game, and fight strategically!
A total of 10 different “Carry-In Items” are planned for v1.1.
We hope you’ll find your favorite Carry-In Items and take on the missions with them!
We’re also currently developing a new mode called “Infinite,” designed to make Endless Mode even more enjoyable.
We received feedback and reviews suggesting, “I want to take an even stronger deck and see how far I can go!”
We thought that sounded really fun, so we decided to actually make it!
In “Infinite,” you’ll be able to bring a completed deck into your next challenge and take on increasingly powerful stages with features such as Card Customization.
With Card Customization, you’ll be able to randomly enhance cards in your deck.
However, not every enhancement will be beneficial—some may increase a card’s cost or add a negative effect...
Of course, we’re also considering a system that would let you reroll an enhancement (although only a limited number of times)!
Card Customization was an idea we had considered even before release. We thought it could be especially interesting when combined with this new mode, so we decided to revisit the idea and are now experimenting with it!
Infinite Mode is currently in development, with a target release around December.
...That said, the release timing may shift depending on development progress. We’d really appreciate your patience!
The following issues are also planned to be fixed in v1.1.0.
・Fixed an issue where UI for unreleased content could appear on the Sandbox results screen.
・Fixed an issue where hovering over the attack preview UI in the upper-left corner with a card that has no ATK on the field could display the wrong card name in the detailed description.
・Fixed an issue where Boomerang (Skill-based Mode) could return to your hand in its Bust state when Burst was activated.
