Hello, everyone! This update brings a focused round of improvements to farming.
We have to admit that farming was relatively underdeveloped in the game’s original design. Your suggestions and criticism have given us plenty of inspiration, and we hope this update makes farming much more convenient for everyone who enjoys it!
Until now, Mousey-Mouse could harvest crops in bulk, while Water Wheels could handle mass watering—but seeds still had to be planted one tile at a time.
Before we introduce a more complete automation system, we’ve added a second skill to the Mousey-Mouse Transformer. Once activated, Mousey-Mouse will automatically sow seeds along its sprinting path.
Tips:
Place the seeds you want to use in Tools or your Bag.
The skill automatically uses the first seed that can be planted on the current tile.
Seeds in Tools take priority over seeds in your Bag.
Together with its existing sprint-harvesting ability, Mousey-Mouse can now handle both bulk sowing and harvesting—making it a true farming all-star!
The Mousey-Mouse Transformer and Water Wheels can greatly improve farming efficiency, but players relying primarily on basic tools still needed more convenient options.
The maximum working area of hoes and shovels now increases with their tier, progressing from 1×1 up to 4×4.
Larger-area tools can be resized at any time. Shrink them to 1×1 for precise adjustments, or expand them again when tilling or clearing a large area.
The Advanced Water Bottle’s maximum watering area has also been increased to 4×4.
Even before unlocking the Mousey-Mouse Transformer, Wanderers using regular tools can now farm with a little more style!
We’ve made another round of improvements to tile targeting for hoes, shovels, sowing, and watering:
Targeting is no longer locked to a fixed character-facing direction and now follows the mouse cursor or controller stick more naturally.
The affected area is now displayed tile by tile, making it easier to see exactly which tiles can be worked.
This is our first round of improvements to these controls. Please give them a try and let us know what could feel even smoother.
Many recovery items require large quantities of crops. We want players who invest time in farming to gradually accumulate seeds through harvesting, expand their fields, and enjoy a smoother farming loop.
Adjusted the Academy skill Verdant Growth. Crops planted by the player now also benefit from its increased seed-drop chance.
When a Berry Bird appears during farming, it now immediately drops one matching seed, preventing this special event from leaving players with fewer seeds than they planted.
Fixed an issue where switching loadouts while retracting a Zipline Hook could cause its state to behave incorrectly.
Fixed the held graphic for the Zipline Hook sometimes appearing on the ground.
Fixed multiplayer issues where some enemies chasing a player could stop updating after the player changed areas, or fail to disappear after being defeated.
Fixed an issue where the remaining resources in boulders could become inconsistent after multiplayer area-state synchronization.
We’ll continue improving the farming experience, while work on other areas of the game also moves forward. Please keep sharing your honest feedback with us after the update!
