Hello everyone! This update adds quick switching for all three Equip Loadouts and significantly adjusts the material costs and batch sizes of darts, Spirit throwable weapons, and other combat consumables.

We hope this makes it easier to switch between gathering and combat gear, and lets you bring these special-effect weapons into regular battles without feeling that you always need to save them for later.

Quick Switching for All Three Loadouts

All three Equip Loadouts can now be assigned hotkeys.

During intense battles, or whenever you frequently switch between gathering and combat gear, quick switching helps you make better use of each setup without repeatedly opening your inventory.

  • Assign a key to Switch Loadout to cycle through all three loadouts.

  • You can also assign separate keys to Equip Loadout I, II, and III to switch directly to a specific loadout.

  • If you trigger a switch while attacking or rolling, it will complete after the current action ends to reduce input conflicts.

These actions are unbound by default so they do not disrupt your current controls. You can assign them under Game Settings — Key Bindings based on your own preferences.

Key Bindings Can Now Be Removed

Controller buttons are limited. In the past, giving every basic screen a dedicated input used up many of those buttons and could also make it easy to open menus such as Talents by accident during combat. Players who wanted to bind loadout switching often had no suitable button left.

This update adds the option to remove key bindings:

  • Most optional actions can now be unbound, leaving more buttons available for the functions you use most.

  • Essential actions such as movement, interaction, attack, and pause remain protected so they cannot be removed by accident.

  • The Key Bindings screen now shows replacement, removal, reset-to-default, and unbound states more clearly.

We hope this helps everyone create a more comfortable control setup. We will continue improving the default controller bindings in future updates.

Lower Crafting Costs for Combat Consumables

To make these consumable weapons more practical in everyday combat, we made the following changes:

  • The material requirements for Spirit Garlic Water, Spirit Detergent, and Spirit Polish Remover have been reduced by roughly 40%–50%, while each batch now produces 30 instead of 10.

  • Flame Manuals, Waterball Manuals, and all darts now produce 15 per batch.

We hope these changes make it easier to use weapons with special effects once their recipes are unlocked. We will continue monitoring how they feel in actual play.

Repair Material Cost Setting

The lowest Repair Material Cost setting in World Rules has been reduced from 15% to 5%.

We found that players who lower repair material costs often still want to keep a small amount of resource circulation and gear maintenance, just without as much pressure.

Because material quantities are rounded, the previous 15% setting often felt too similar to the default 35% setting. At 5%, repairs still consume a small amount of materials, but the pressure is now much lighter than the default.

If you want to keep the repair loop while easing its material cost, please give this setting a try.

Other Adjustments & Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where stamina might not recover properly after using the Targeted Teleporter to travel to certain locations.

  • In response to reports of hotbar equipment disappearing or entering abnormal states in multiplayer, we attempted fixes for several identified slot-switching and item-consumption issues.

  • Fixed an issue where rapidly switching held items could incorrectly consume the item or durability from the newly selected slot.

  • Fixed an issue where the held-item slot might not clear correctly after ending a transformation.

  • Fixed an issue where non-stackable items could drop in incorrect quantities under unusual multiplayer conditions.

  • The three Boss Coins no longer add to your backpack Load.

  • Steam initialization failures now display an error code to make reports and further investigation easier.

To be transparent, we are not yet 100% certain that the multiplayer hotbar equipment-loss issue has been completely resolved. If you still encounter it after updating, please contact us through the community. Details about what you did immediately before and after the issue occurred would be especially helpful for our investigation.

What We’re Working on Next

Our current priorities include:

  • Improving the targeting and area controls of tools such as hoes and shovels, while also strengthening their practical capabilities so farming, placing ground tiles, and clearing terrain feel more accurate and responsive.

  • Testing more World Rule options, including damage and HP settings, so players with different preferences can tune the experience to suit them better.

  • Separating world data from player data as groundwork for improving character progression, collection ownership, and data safety in multiplayer.

We are also investigating recently reported issues and will continue working on the other improvements we have previously discussed. These three areas are our current development priorities, and we will share more as progress is made.

Finally, we’d like to share a lovely home created by player sinnie3金: beneath an oak tree, the player and their Ghost Light companion are making emotes together. Thank you for sharing such a warm scene, and please keep showing us the homes and travel stories you create!

If you have suggestions about quick loadout switching, controller bindings, World Rules, or any other part of the game, please keep letting us know!

If you encounter any other issues or have suggestions for the game, please join us on Wonderia Discord.

Thank you again for your feedback, patience, and support! 🪐🫶
