Idyll Isle 1.0.6.4 Patch Notes

Idyll Isle · published 31 Jul 2026, 16:58 UTC · build 24497391

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

Highlights: A small update around placement and farm plots—placement rules have been widened, so the bottom-most row of land can now be built on and tilled and more of the island is usable; and in farmland planning, the two progress bars now only appear on hover instead of sitting over your crops. We've also fixed the Perfectionist achievement refusing to unlock on some accounts.

Gameplay Improvements

  • Building / Agriculture · wider placement rules: The bottom-most row of land can now be built on and tilled rather than sitting unused, and the space around passages like the Abandoned Mine and Collapsed Passage is now judged against their actual footprint. More of the island is usable.
  • Agriculture · farmland planning no longer covers your crops: In farmland planning, the Growth and Water bars now only appear while you hover a plot instead of sitting permanently over the crop icon; the hover tooltip also gained a Water percentage, so it's clear at a glance which plots need watering.
  • UI · Handbook list alignment: Entries in the Handbook now use a separate bullet column, so wrapped lines line up cleanly with the text above instead of looking like the bullet slipped onto its own row.

Bug Fixes

  • Achievements · Perfectionist: Fixed Perfectionist never unlocking for players who had already earned every other achievement. Affected players need to do nothing—just launch the game and it will light up shortly after.
  • Building · placement grid no longer jitters: Moving the camera mid-placement now keeps the grid and building preview locked in step—no more drift or slight shaking.

It isn't gone for good — Valve returns it once the game has earned $1,000 . So that line means this little island crossed the line. And it settles the July books — which is to say, the first half-month after launch…
