Joy-Con reliability
- Major Joy-Con (gen 1) connectivity overhaul: far more reliable pairing, reconnection, and recovery
- Eliminated hand tracking jitter when using Joy-Cons
- Smoother Joy-Con onboarding: camera preview now shows during setup
Controllers
- Fixed Vive controller bindings
- Controller emulation setting for Steam Home now respected
- Fixed Index controller thumbstick axes not registering unless the stick was touched upon reports touch sensors can fail easily over time
Camera / hand tracking
- Rewrote webcam capture startup: faster, more predictable camera initialization, smarter camera-mode selection, and less aggressive probing
Startup & background behavior
- Background device probing is hardened and suspended when not needed, reducing USB/Bluetooth churn while idle
