Patch Notes – Sublight Demo 0.17.4
(don't ask where 0.17.3 went)

Features

  • Localization

    • We now support User Interface in 8 Languages.
English, Español, Português Brasileiro, 日本語, 한국어, 简体中文, Pусский, & Deutsch
(This is the first stage of a long process, please bear with me and report any issues if you can)

  • Weapon categories

    • Every weapon type now has a higher category, and there's new captain and upgrade tracks that directly buff these for some early synergies.

  • Upgrade changes

    • Some upgrades have been altered to include weapon category synergies.

  • Weapon changes

    • Audio changes to plasma weapons

    • Changed Tier 3 missile launcher to feel like a direct upgrade

(Swarm launchers will be separated into a new tree soon)

  • New UI Options

    • Ability to disable pause camera rotation

  • Balance changes

    • Buffed some of the weaker player upgrades and made captains more impactful choices

    • Tweaked enemy scaling, Bosses should last a bit longer, and the game should scale stronger around the 20-30 minute mark.
This is also a work in progress. Feedback is appreciated

Fixes

  • Still tracking one or two rare crash situations.

  • Fixed the ui option for disabling damage numbers doing nothing
