New

- Mouse camera control — hold the right mouse button and drag to orbit and zoom the camera, in addition to the existing controls.
- A real How to Play panel — the main menu button now opens a full guide with tabs for Controls, Sailing & Ships, Combat, Trade & Bounty, and Modes & Captains.
- In-game score screen — press Tab (or DPad-Right on a controller) mid-match for a full standings table: every player and couch seat's name, captain, current ship, bounty, and gold (plus kills in Deathmatch).
- New captain: the Carpenter — passively repairs 60 hull points per minute while underway (paused while docked or sunk).
- Fourth Rate visual overhaul, round two — a proper transom with a two-tier stern gallery, hull banding, a ship's wheel at the helm, a gilt figurehead and headrails, and deck crew including a helmsman standing at the wheel.
- Fourth Rate and Frigate both get new planked-wood hull and deck textures for a richer, less flat look up close.
- Fourth Rate now has standing rigging — ratlines running up the masts for a more finished silhouette.

Changes & Balance

- Smuggler's bounty drain doubled (30 → 60 bounty/min) — the price on your head now sheds twice as fast, even mid-fight.
- Fourth Rate's shop description corrected — she's actually faster than the Galleon once she's up to speed (still the least handy ship to steer).

Fixes

- Couch co-op nameplates fixed — neither split-screen player could see the other's name or captain icon above their ship; both are now visible correctly on each side of the screen.
- Hardened dock-restore so a swapped-in smaller ship can never keep the bigger hull's hit points.
- Hardened ship loading against corrupted or missing model files, so a bad reference fails safely to a default ship instead of risking a broken one.
