Patch 2.1.7 is live.
The thirteenth language, all the way through — interface, charms, recipes, achievements, guest demands and the tutorial. Pick Italiano in Settings, or the game picks it for you if your machine already runs in Italian. Marked BETA in the language picker until a native speaker reads it through, same as every language starts.
Beating the calorie target has always paid coins. Now you can watch it happen: five rings fill in as you overfeed, each one a coin, and the score itself grows and reddens the further past the target you go. Double the wall and you'll know it just by looking.
Your rail shows tonight's menu and nothing else. Edit Menu opens the full cookbook, sorted by course, rarity or value, with a badge marking recipes you haven't looked at yet. A row of pips by your coin count shows the interest you're banking, so you can see when holding beats spending.
The online board is accepting scores again, after a short outage on 14 September. Nothing on your machine was affected.
Chef names on the boards are just names again — no more code tacked onto a repeated name.
There are two of us making this, so keep it coming — which charm was useless, which target was impossible, what read badly in your language. There's a Send feedback button in the main menu, and we're in the discussions and the Discord every day.
