While many people seem to like the demo - which makes us very happy of course - we've also been receiving a lot of feedback about possible improvements to make!
Over the past few weeks, we've added some of the more commonly requested features into the game, as well as improving on some visual aspects that have been lagging behind.
Here are the major changes:
It's easy to forget what upgrades you've picked, and how many passengers a cart can have! To make this easier, there's a new menu option called "Train", in which you can see a list and information about the upgrades you've picked!
Sometimes, you've made a slight mistake with devastating consequences! Other times, you've just been a bit too greedy (this is probably most of the times...)
Regardless, you end up dying in a late wave on some level, and it feels pretty bad having to start all over!
Well, with "Retry Last Wave", once per level you're allowed to revive at the build phase of the current wave.
Some graphical settings have been requested by people with different setups and preferences, and we've added some of these!
While almost everybody seem to already like the way the game looks, Fred just can't help himself, so he's made the previously flat-colored water now be anything but!
And blasting small Bastards with the artillery is now much more satisfying!
There is a new 'Cards' menu in-game where you can see all the carts and their related cards, as well as passenger limitEdge Scrolling can now be disabled in Options
Upon Game Over, there is now an option to retry from last wave
Edge Scrolling can now be disabled in Options
Camera Shake can now be reduced in Options
The water is now much prettier!
The tiny Bastards now have unique death animations when dying by big explosion
The Flamey bullets are now less visually intensive, and no longer create lag spikes when upgraded
Fixed issue of bullet and enemy particles remaining when the game is paused
Fixed a layout issue with the Watch Tower's passenger counter
