Jump back into the Tower during Closed Beta, running from July 15th - 26th.
We’ve spent the last few months working hard on your feedback following Steam Next Fest. You can expect to see a lot of changes to gameplay clarity, UI, and performance, a brand new game mode and our first test of Arkheron’s cosmetic progression system.
Start Times by Region
Closed Beta will kick off at different times in each region:
Europe: July 15th @ 6PM BST / 7PM CEST
South America: July 15th @ 6PM BRT & ADT
North America: July 15th @ 4PM PDT / 7PM EDT
Asia / Pacific: July 16th @ 10AM JST & KST
Note: Queues will initially be running Spires (our newest 3v3 game mode, focused on sharp combat and creative builds). Our 15-team fight to the death game mode, Ascension, will run during dedicated weekend windows starting Friday, July 17th. Check the Closed Beta FAQ for exact local times.)
How to Get Access
We are sending out access invites in waves throughout the test’s duration. Here’s how you can get on the waitlist:
Already Requested Access through FirstLook or Steam? Keep an eye on your inbox, we’ll be sending invites out across the duration of the test. If you get an invite, you will automatically receive 3 additional Steam friend keys to bring your crew with you.

Weekly Playtesters: If you’ve been playtesting with us these past few weeks, you are all set! The "Arkheron Playtest" app in your Steam Library will automatically update with Closed Beta. Just download the latest and play.
What's New to Check Out?
Aside from major performance and gameplay upgrades, this build drops a couple of important new features:
[New Game Mode] Spires: Our newest game mode focuses on 3v3 combat, and allows you to customize your build and test your skills directly in a fight to the death.
[New System] Cosmetics & Progression Test: Play to earn “Pages” and unlock items from our Closed Beta collection in our first ever test of our cosmetic progression system. Note: While progress and unlocked items will reset after this test, earning items on the Book Rewards track will grant you an exclusive title, banner, and skin that are yours to keep forever - our thanks to you for helping us test the system.
Heads Up: Arkheron accounts are brand new to Closed Beta - when prompted upon login, select "No" when asked if you've played on another platform (unless you are joining via the limited Xbox Insiders console group).
