AI has already changed the landscape. Whether we like it or not, people are now taking in that change in very different ways.

My sympathy leans more toward creators. If I love a work enough, I buy a full set of the original-language books and then buy the ebook version too, just so I can keep it with me. When a new chapter goes up, I read it right away. If there is a creator I really like, I follow them so I can watch or listen as soon as a new work or upload appears. That is partly affection for the work itself, and partly a wish that my support might help the artist, even a little.

Even so, I do not think that feeling is the whole answer. My position is also just one position among many.

Clashing Positions

Some people talk about AI as a new kind of opportunity. Work they might have given up on because of time or manpower can now be attempted much faster, and even alone they can push much farther than before. When I hear that side, AI sounds less like a tool and more like a release: a lower barrier to creation, a wider field of possibility.

Others are unsettled by that same speed. It can feel as if the place an artist fought to earn, the craft built over years, and the fragile living they barely managed to keep are all becoming replaceable far too easily. When I hear that side, the feeling sounds less like inconvenience and more like dread: the fear that a beloved world may be cheapened and swept aside.EULA is not a game that declares one side wrong. It begins with the fact that the same change can lead people to completely different emotions.People can witness the exact same scene

and still arrive at entirely different conclusions.

Branches of the Ending

That is why this game has multiple endings. Some accept AI, some reject it, some compromise with it, and some remain unresolved to the very end.

What matters is not simply whether the player chose yes or no, but what they decided mattered more. Efficiency, affection, anxiety, or perhaps some feeling they still do not have a name for. Some endings may feel close to relief. Some may feel more like emptiness. Some may leave behind only another question. At least for me, I did not want to slice those differences into simple categories like good and bad. I wanted the game to leave room for the fact that people can reach different emotions and different reasons while standing before the same problem.

The Question I Wanted to Leave Behind

You can understand someone without agreeing with them. Understanding is not the same thing as approval.

What I want this game to do is give the player a moment to stop and ask, "Why would they think that way?" when they meet someone whose position is different from their own.My own hope that human creators will not be swept away too easily by the immense current of efficiency and progress is also only one opinion among many. Even so, I want that feeling to be recognized as something that truly exists, and to be allowed a place within the conversation. Not just which ending a character chose, but what drew me in, what I turned away from, what I was willing to protect. Your choice and my opinion are both interpretations shaped by where each of us stands.
