Void Nebula Playtest · published · build 25393536

This update marks the closure of the open playtest. From now on, the demo will take his place and playtest is gonna be in private access only. (Come ask for it in the discord!)
This update add the long awaited infinite mode and more QoL, as well as content and bug fixing.
The demo contains Kali (and Ampyre when the Fest is gonna start) as well as 17 achievements and 2 difficulties per character. It’s a big demo yes, but still a tiny fraction of what the full game is gonna be.
New content:
Infinite mode is now out! Try your skills on Step 9 and onward with powerful random enemies until you eventually die from a enemy with 5 millions HP’s that will inflict a thousand damage in one attack. It’s also your best way to break your best stats, and break the game, also.
Added the stats screen in the options! You can now have a list of total and best stats you did in the game.
Added Win streak, the game will now check for win streak and best win streak (for the stats). The character screen also display the current win streak. Losing during infinite mode will not break the streak but fast reset will.
Added Steam Achievements (Demo only) and Steam Cloud! Yup!, the achievements works for the demo and the cross save is on!
QoL:
Encounters consequences have been refined. The most obscure consequences are now way more clear about what happened.
Card editions during encounters will show the cards being edited.
Gamble and luck based choices will now display a notification for success or failure.
A screen will now display for specific actions like loosing random items.
All rewards now display the reward screen.

The controller & keyboard support was worked on for days and days to make sure players would still be able to have a good time playing the game. Plus, keyboard players can play without the mouse at all! Notice that despite of that, the game is designed to be played with a mouse.
Steam Deck and Linux support is now fully operational. The game have an fully complete Linux export as well as a controller support and a Deck Mode for the best settings.
You can now hover the difficulty icon in game to see the current difficulty modifier.
Status tooltips now display green or red color based on the type of the status (bonus or malus)
