A Brief Dev Update

Hello Draconians! We are briefly breaking the silence to let you know what we are working on at the moment.

1) As most of you know by now, the European Dragon's release date is August 31, so we are making some final fixes and tweaks to get it ready by the end of the month!

2) Some old locations on the first island have been receiving a quality overhaul to make the terrain easier to navigate for flightless creatures, improve performance, and open up more areas for player dens.

3) Quest givers will have quest markers in the near future, making it easier for new players to find quests without having to talk to every NPC in an area.

4) Player characters, and partially AI, can now get sick! Unsafe food and water sources have a small chance to infect player characters and apply long lasting debuffs, which can be cured using various items. In some cases, players can also contract diseases from enemies, which they can then spread back to enemies or other player characters. This system is still in an early stage and will be expanded in the future, adding more types of illnesses and requiring more complex cures that will partially tie into the game's alchemy system.

5) We have also started adding a few interactive level assets, such as interactive scroll piles and hay piles, to make the map feel a little more lively. Some of them may or may not have a cheeky "surprise" waiting for you. :)You can find a small teaser video of the coming updates on our Youtube channel!- The Draconia Dev Team
