No, the Championship mode is still in the oven for a little while longer, but in the meantime I've got two new game modes for you: Grand Tour and Cruising.

Cruising was a feature requested by quite a few players: a randomly generated road layout that you can ride forever. Well... not completely forever. At least not yet.

The 9 environments (yes, I secretly added a new one) are randomly combined. Each environment gets two unique layouts, giving you a total of 18 different layouts per ride. After that, the same route repeats for up to 999 laps. If I ever manage to generate new layouts while you're riding, this mode will become truly endless and random. But for now, this will have to do.

Then there's Grand Tour. The 8 familiar environments are divided across four races. You start in last place out of 30 riders and have to fight your way through the field, race after race. Your finishing position determines where you start in the next race. Between races, you'll also get to choose one of four available upgrades to further improve your motorcycle.

I've also made a number of smaller improvements. For example, on ultrawide displays the bottom edge of the dashboard used to be visible. Nano Banana extended the artwork a little further downward for me, so that's no longer an issue. Thanks, Nano Banana!

And I have no idea if anyone ever noticed, but the third environment of the Intermediate Course (Pine Hills) was never exactly the same from one run to the next. The hills were being generated by a random number generator without a fixed seed. That's now been fixed, so the layout is finally identical every time.

As always: if you run into any problems, bugs, or have suggestions, let me know!

Game update19 Aug 202619/08/2026 - Unity 6.5I've migrated the project to the latest Unity version. This will allow me to eventually implement an online multiplayer mode. This is new territory to me, so it will take a while before it's ready to test it. I've also added an extra difficulty setting for the Grand Tour mode and I've redone the track layout for the first stage. The desert scenery also got a slight update and a little performan…Game update1 Jul 202601/07/2026 - 3rd person viewSome people have requested a 3rd person view, so here it is! Hit the C-key or the select button on your gamepad. To be honest: it's not completely finished though. It does have a working brake light, wheelie-animation, but no flames out of the exhaust pipes and no tire smoke yet. Those will come later. I've also made the turbo sound smoother when decelerating.Game update30 Jun 202630/06/2026 Code optimizationQuite a few people have pointed out that the game's frame rate isn't always as smooth or stable as it should be. I've spent some time digging into the code and optimized one of the most performance-intensive parts of the game. It's not perfect yet, and you may still notice the occasional stutter, but I hope you'll see a clear improvement. If you're still experiencing performance issues, please…
