🔧 Massive Update: Performance Overhaul, Visual Polish & New UN Tracker!
Hello Commanders!
We have a huge combined update ready for you today! This update delivers massive performance boosts, beautiful visual upgrades to the world map, a brand new stat-bar tracker for the United Nations, and critical fixes for multiplayer stability.
Here is a breakdown of what is new:
🇺🇳 New UN Stat-Bar Tracker
• Global Assembly at a Glance: We’ve added a dedicated United Nations entry directly to your stat-bar! You can now easily keep track of active resolutions, global assembly voting status, and international diplomatic tides right from the main gameplay screen without having to open sub-menus.
🎖️ Smoother Map Performance & Smarter Stacking
• Butter-Smooth Map Zooming: We’ve completely rebuilt how units (Army, Fleet, and Air Wing counters) are drawn on the map. The game now groups and renders units on your screen all at once, leading to massive framerate gains when managing large global deployments.
• Cleaner Stack Decks: Stacked units in the same province are now sorted in a clean, easy-to-read card deck perspective. Back-cards in a stack will now hide their health/morale bars so they don't overlap and clutter the cards in front, making it simple to see exactly what forces are stationed where.
• Pinned Armies Fixed: Resolved a bug where stacked armies would slowly float away from their correct positions when the game was paused.
⚖️ Strategic AI Recruitment & Diplomacy Balancing
• Sizable AI Army Building: The AI now smart-calculates target army sizes based on its GDP and defense budget rather than simple triggers. In times of war, AI nations will actively bulk-recruit up to 50% more units to aggressively defend their borders.
• Alliances for Small Countries: We’ve slowed relations decay, raised the ceiling for shared-enemy modifiers, and introduced peaceful coexistence bonuses. This gives smaller, landlocked, or weaker nations the essential breathing room they need to forge powerful defensive alliances.
📡 Rock-Solid Multiplayer & Desync Observatory
• Host Time Control: Multiplayer speed and pause controls are now strictly host-authoritative. If a client attempts to change the speed, the command is blocked and a helpful localized message is displayed.
• Desync Warning System: We have implemented an under-the-hood synchronization check that verifies game state data across all players in real-time. If a desync occurs, the game will now display a clear, localized overlay to alert players immediately.
Thanks for your incredible feedback, bug reports, and support! Enjoy the smoother map performance and the new UN tracking!
