We're back, Scribes! With Spring in our step, it's time for another Interlude Patch!
Today's update, Overture, brings Epic Poetry to new venues, Combo Pages wreak balancing havoc, we smash some bugs, and preparations for the next major update continue! What lies in store on the road ahead?

Even in the most dire of circumstances, poetry endures! Sprawling showdowns with the Torn can now be accessed in two new maps for Epic Poetry : Islands and Ritual!
Learn and master the nooks and crannies of these slam poetry venues to take your wave-smashing strategies to the next level!
Elsewhere in the stanzas... we've adjusted the Toxic Binding; Toxic can only apply 1 stack every 0.35 seconds. This should help prevent the most surprising of one-shotty deaths while keeping the temporary, high-stakes defensive/movement shakeup in combat!
The depths of ink grow deeper! Scribes can now find over 15 new Pages of Power throughout Vellum!
In this serial addition to the grand folio, we've added new Combo Pages, Red Ink Pages, and a spattering of fun-but-not-a-category Pages.
In the visual above, you can see our two featured powers of the post: Raining Blows and I Call!
Jot, our old reliable Generator spell, gains a chance to summon a torrent of additional spells from above.
Draw and Resound users will find a glorious synergy with I Call - causing a resound pulse when all Draw Cards hit a single target!
As for our favorite, life-stealing Ink... what's black and white and Red all over? You'll have to get your crimson on to find out!
Oh, the devilish details! In Overture, we're fixing some long-standing bugs and taking a pass at some welcome tuning!
Playing as a group? Find that pesky secret in a Vignette? Now you can celebrate your combined brain power by sharing in the rewards!
Red Ink was previously dealing intermittent bonus damage due to a bug. Tsk tsk. Verse wouldn't want his Red Ink to be more effective because of an error! We've fixed that issue. Phew. On second thought...
Red "Infuse" effects now deal damage equal to 75% of your current HP (was 35%).
The Red Signature Spell now ticks twice as fast!
Combined with the bug fixes, Red should be in a slightly healthier, buffed spot. We've also improved our Inkling's targeting and made slight tweaks to Draw and Jot.
This upcoming week marks One Year of Vellum 1.0! We've faced the Torn Lords, learned new Spells, customized our Illuminated Library, mastered countless Pages of Power, and so much more! The amount we've learned has been staggering - second only to the amount of fun we've had on this journey!

With another year behind us, our focus turns to the road ahead. Checking our map, there are two major attractions coming up!
First, Vellum's next Major Chapter is in production now; be on the lookout for more information about how - bingo, you guessed it - the Torn have found a new, insidious way to threaten the Illuminated Library! More details will reveal themselves soon about this deadly chapter and the dramatic trials within.
Our second destination on the map takes a different route than our Scribes and Torn; Alvios (hey, that's us!) has something new in the works. We can't wait to share what's in store... but more on that when the time is right!

Binding - Toxic: Poison now has a 0.35s internal cooldown on applying to Scribes. This will prevent getting several stacks all at once.
