Low-Poly Mode is now LIVE in Legend of Deepshade: The Shattered Seal!
You can now explore the dungeon with a classic PS1-inspired look, featuring low-poly versions of the NPCs and enemies throughout the game.
The existing voxel mode and retro 8-bit textures are still fully playable, with settings to change both textures and models. Whether you prefer the classic voxel style or the new low-poly look, you can choose how you experience the dungeon.
Here is a first look at Low-Poly Mode in action:
The new low-poly models bring a different atmosphere to the dungeon, with a focus on classic PS1-era aesthetics and a more grounded, believable look.
This update has been a big part of development over the past few weeks, and I’m really happy to finally make it available.
With Low-Poly Mode now live, I’ll be turning my attention towards the next stage of development, including more unique items, puzzle balancing and further improvements to the dungeon.
I’m also looking forward to starting work on Procedural Mode once the current improvements are in place.
More news soon, and thank you for being part of the journey!
