Changelog
Added debug info for hardware decode and low latency mode to video player UI
Added setting for choosing videoplayer backend in game (Implementation -> Video Player -> Video Decoder)
This setting only applies to video players spawned after it's changed
Choices are AVPro (Default), VLC, Disabled (won't spawn new video players)
Added Steam Signups username picking (will still get the 4 characters at the end)
Added supported extension check to AvPro to skip YTDLP for containers that should work
Changed the authentication to use the User Id instead of Username
This should address the authentication issues when changing Username
Custom build of VLC with the d3d11 frame stutter patch applied
Fixed accepting/rejecting friend requests not clearing the message in certain scenarios
Fixed blank space on main menu message when no image is given
Fixed cached videos getting stuck in resolving UI state
Fixed camera grab range expanding every time it's pinned
Fixed clicking on a not available avatar details opening the details a previously viewed profile. (Also fixed some other places where this happened)
Fixed creating instances with the wrong tags for GS
Fixed debug args not being set for LibVLC
Fixed LibVLC livestream playback (twitch and other HLS sites)
Previously livestreaming platforms would resolve but never start playing
Fixed main menu alert message text being cut off if it's too large, font size will shrink now
Fixed Player Trigger Enter not firing while the player is seated
Fixed playing direct media in VLC (URL that end with .mp4, .mkv, ECT.)
Fixed portable camera viewport being too small in VR
Fixed some friend requests not showing up in-game right away in certain scenarios
Fixed some gravity zones breaking on world rejoin
Fixed sometimes receiving a new friend request clearing your other pending ones
Fixed spawnable triggers "Change per sec" mode being tied to frame rate
Fixed use low latency mode setting not being respected in video player initial state
Fixed VLC crashing Linux Proton on video start
Currently VLC on Proton doesn't currently support hardware decoding, I'll look into a fix eventually
Fixed VLC sometimes crashing when changing instances or videos
Fixed Wheel Hub Controller vehicles handling differently depending on framerate
The baseline behavior value was picked based on how it behaved at 60Hz
Fixed YTDLP format blocks causing fallback match when attempting to use webm (above 1080p res)
Fixed YTDLP not overwriting existing files in cache
Force RTSPT for all RTSP links when using AvPro
Improved the error handling for the login/signup
Improved the session authentication rejections handling
If for any reason the API started rejecting the requests, the client would basically break silently
Match using vcodec instead of container, ignore "Premium" formats
This may address the garbled video issues that popped up, seems vp9 is a bit fucky here and there
YTDLP's change to use the visionos Youtube client changed which formats we saw, so this kinda just broke
Moved Muted Speech Detection to Audio & Comms page
Moved nameplate settings to User Interface page
Player backend is displayed in videoplayer info panel
Removed launch option --enable-libvlc
Replaced with --force-libvlc and --force-avpro these ignore the in-game setting
Known Issue
Occasional crashes still occur when video changes resolution with LibVLC under Proton/Linux
