**Milo Public Playtest Update!**
I am admitting one-thousand new playtesters and released a big update to the public playtest.

***Hello, guys and gals!***

Thank you very much for continuing to support Milo. It’s been awesome seeing your feedback. This update is a pretty big testing pass, expect some jank. My biggest goal here is to get a realistic picture of what is broken in Milo so I can address it before launch

**!! IMPORTANT PLAYTEST PROGRESSION WARNING !!**

*The account and progression systems in this build are temporary and are being tested with real players. Your account level, stats, weapon progress, Traang Bucks, cosmetics, leaderboard scores, and anything else you earn may be reset at any time. None of this progress will carry over into Early Access or the final release. The current rewards, balance, and economy are also not final.*

***What’s In This Update?***

• **Standard and Hardcore difficulty modes:** Hosts can now choose a difficulty before starting. Hardcore is way more punishing.

• **Player count scaling:** The number of enemies, their health, the maximum number that can be alive, and the speed at which they arrive now scale based on how many players are in the game and the diffiulty.

• **The Pack Rat has been added:** If you find one during a run, you can use it to receive a random weapon.

• **Separate leaderboards:** Highest Wave runs are now separated by Standard or Hardcore and by squad size, so you are being compared against players running under the same conditions. Leaderboard support has also been expanded for Arcade and lobby basketball.

• **The Milo Account Terminal:** The Terminal now acts as a central place to view your account, browse character and cosmetic options, preview and equip weapon skins, check weapon progress, and look through the leaderboards.

• **PlayFab progression testing:** Milo is now testing persistent account levels, lifetime statistics, weapon kills and mastery, saved rats, Traang Bucks, and a small number of test cosmetic unlocks.

• **Cream Machine wagers and bulk purchases:** Players can now choose how much they want to wager at the Cream Machine and purchase multiple rolls at once, making it much quicker to spend your rats when you have a lot banked.

• **A fixed Traang timer:** Each visit to Traang now lasts a flat 90 seconds. Using the Cream Machine or playing basketball will no longer refresh that timer. When time runs out, you will be taken back to the main play area.

• **A clearer way out of Traang:** If you are ready to leave before the timer expires, there is now a clear way to return to the play area on your own.

• **Frontend announcements:** The main menu now has a proper announcements panel so important Milo updates can be seen directly inside the game.

• **Co-op and gameplay improvements:** Players can now be downed and revived by teammates. Recoil has been smoothed out, and new options have been added for weapon motion, camera shake, and controller aim assist.

• **General polish and fixes:** Fishy Suicide and the Traang transition have been improved, along with a bunch of fixes to weapon animations, spectator behavior, HUD elements, corpse effects, and Pack Rat presentation.

Please let me know if anything breaks, your feedback is extremely valuable.

Thank you for playing Milo. I love you.

-Spencer
