MG42 — Weapon Balance Adjustments
◆ Adjustment Goals
The MG42 was designed as a fire support weapon, providing heavy suppressive fire as teammates armed with ARs or SMGs push forward and finishing off enemies they were unable to eliminate.
Its large magazine capacity and overwhelming rate of fire are also intended to make it effective in one-on-one engagements, even without pinpoint accuracy.
These adjustments aim to more clearly reinforce the MG42’s intended role and weapon characteristics.
◆ Adjustment Details
Hip-fire bullet spread range and values will increase by 15%.
Bullet spread range and values while aiming down sights will increase by 5%.
Bullet spread range and values while moving will increase by 15%.
Bullet spread range and values when jumping will increase by 20%.
Bullet spread range and values while crouching will increase by 5%.
The formula used to calculate spread increase during firing will be changed.
Damage multipliers by hit location will be reduced.
