Hello everyone! Here is a quick look at what we’re working on for the upcoming Patch 1.02.04c.
Bug Fixes
The Office Stage Colliders: Fixed missing wall colliders and out-of-bounds drop points around windows.
Camera Focus Bug: Fixed an issue where SwingStandLight-trap focused on an incorrect camera after collision detection.
Truck Tire Trap Rework: Separated into two distinct traps—one that launches forward and one that rolls. You can now use them independently in stage designs!
NPC Launch Physics: Adjusted NPC mass to match the player. Previously, the knockback force was way too high, blasting NPCs off-screen. (Note: Dragging NPCs into traps still grants score points with a lower multiplier—ethically questionable, but highly encouraged!)
Optimization: Adjusted the Reflection Shader to process nearby objects only, reducing overall performance load.
Additions & Improvements
Combo UI Upgrade: Chaining different traps now triggers the TRAP CHAIN COMBO counter, which significantly boosts your reward multiplier. Standard consecutive hits will also be displayed as a HITS counter on the right side of the UI alongside TRAP CHAIN.
Jump Force Buff: Slightly increased jump power, allowing for better mobility (climbing ledges, hopping between boxes). This opens up new level design possibilities! (Jump mechanics are still being tuned and are not required to complete current main story stages).
Demo Version Restructuring (Work in Progress) We are currently evaluating a revamped Demo version!
Considering a Demo that includes the first 3 stages plus a Level Editor Trial (Save/Load and Workshop uploads disabled).
The trial Level Editor will give players access to various traps right from the start to test mechanics and craft delightfully malicious stage layouts.
Note: Temporary stage codes created in the Demo will not work in the full game.
Good News: EXP and in-game currency earned in the Demo WILL carry over to the full game!
Stay tuned for the official drop of Patch 1.02.04c!
