Update 0.11.1 is now available for Crown Marshal.
This update introduces the new Psionic Ward battlefield skill and the Overloaded Boiler modification for the Locomotive, along with a Militia balance adjustment and a fix for unit inspection during live spectating.
Added Psionic Ward.
Choose a target point during deployment. The Psionic Ward opens 2 seconds after battle begins.
The ward has:
Allied units and ordinary buildings inside the ward are immune to:
Psionic Ward does not protect:
Units immediately lose protection when they leave the ward.
Psionic Ward can be equipped in:
When placed in reserve, the corresponding Ritual: Psionic Ward card can unlock it during the match.
The ward includes a cool-blue boundary and dedicated absorption feedback when it blocks an affected attack.
The AI can also use Psionic Ward. Once a relevant threat has been revealed, it can deploy the ward to protect valuable troops and buildings.
Added Overloaded Boiler for the Locomotive.
When a Locomotive equipped with Overloaded Boiler dies, it explodes.
The blast extends 3 m outward from the edge of its hull and deals 500 fixed damage to:

The following defensive mechanics on affected targets still apply:
An Overloaded Boiler explosion can trigger another Locomotive equipped with Overloaded Boiler, allowing chain detonations.
If the final surviving units on both sides are destroyed by the resulting explosions, the battle correctly ends in a draw.
The route includes dedicated:

You can now open read-only group details directly from the board and inspect:
