This update focuses on improved performance, better co-op stability, and numerous bug fixes.
Performance & Stability
• Improved overall performance during large fights and when many enemies are active.
• Significantly reduced lag spikes when enemies die, including kills from tower projectiles.
• Coin and experience drops are handled more efficiently during large enemy groups.
• Improved stability when loading save games and joining co-op worlds.
Graphics
• New graphics settings for render resolution, view distance, vegetation density, shadow distance, and quality levels.
Co-op & Progression
• Villagers and workers now load more reliably, find the NavMesh, and continue their work.
• Rejoining players now keep their selected level-up upgrades.
• The death screen is more reliable and provides working respawn, quit, and ESC fallbacks.
• Co-op players now receive the victory screen and victory dance after defeating the final boss.
• Bosses, buildings, and building areas now synchronize more reliably for late-joining players.
• The compass can now detect the final boss even if it spawns after the compass was purchased.
• Equipped tools from other players can no longer be picked up or duplicated.
• Resource drops from co-op players now retain the correct stack amount when collected.
• The main menu now closes reliably after rejoining a co-op game.
World & Gameplay
• Workers and villagers now pause when the Great Hall is destroyed instead of disappearing.
• Once the Great Hall is rebuilt, they continue their previous work.
• Guard Towers and Watch Towers can now attack siege goblins even when players are far away from the settlement.
• Goblin camps and structures now snap to the ground more reliably.
• Wall upgrades now retain their correct size.
• Temple timers, scroll rewards, and scroll collection are more reliable, including in co-op.
User Interface
• Dev News is easier to read with a fixed font size, mouse-wheel scrolling, and a scrollbar.
