## New
- **Dynamic winds in Caribbean Standard** — every voyage now rolls its own wind field:
shifting trade winds, strait gusts through the Windward Passage and Jamaica Channel,
becalmed island lees, and roaming open-water breezes. The map's signature wind zones
are always there, but their exact shape and strength changes from match to match.
Check the wind chart at your spawn to plan your route — and watch for the "Winds vary
this voyage" hint on the map legend. Home Waters and Twin Forts keep their classic
fixed winds.
## Changes & Balance
- The schooner's sails now set 10° to leeward, matching the rest of the fleet's rigging.
- Brigantine square sails reshaped: curved feet, lifted to open the gaps between the
stacked sails, and a slightly slimmer main topsail.
## Fixes
- The world map's wind arrows now faithfully show narrow wind zones like the Windward
Passage instead of smoothing them away.
- The grog goggles effect now actually renders — the drunken double-vision had been
silently broken since it was added. Drink responsibly.
- NPC ships bound for Havana no longer strand themselves endlessly against Cuba's south
coast — traders re-plan their route, and bounty hunters give up on marks they can't
reach instead of circling forever.
