ORE BASTARDS, an action-packed game focused on exploration and mining across an infinite universe, is now available to play in Early Access!
As you journey through Ore Bastards, you will experience fast and satisfying action, highly detailed ship customization, deep mining and mission systems, ruthless pirates waiting to steal the precious ore in your cargo hold, friendly miners ready to help others in distress, and countless mysteries waiting to be discovered in deep space.
Before you start playing, you may also want to take two or three minutes to read our Official Guide. It will help you get familiar with the game’s core systems and begin your journey with a much smoother start:
We are launching the game in Early Access because we want to include feedback from our players before giving the game its final shape.
Listening to our players, discussing their ideas, and bringing the best suggestions into the game are important parts of our development philosophy. Please feel free to share your ideas and suggestions in the dedicated thread on the Steam forums. We read every message carefully and will do our best to incorporate as many great ideas as possible.

Even in its current state, the game already contains enough content for hundreds of hours of play. We cannot go into too much detail without spoiling the surprises, but hundreds of different adventures are waiting for you: battling pirates, discovering new mining regions, finding hidden bases in deep space, rescuing people drifting through the void in escape pods, protecting miner ships under attack, and completing long and dangerous cargo missions between distant stations.
Every part of the universe is built around carefully designed procedural systems. This means that an adventure you have already experienced will never unfold in exactly the same way again.
By the way, did we mention that the game universe is infinite?
Please do not do anything crazy like trying to discover where the map ends. You may never find your way back. : )
Then again, even we do not know what kinds of discoveries might be waiting for you as you travel farther and farther into infinity.
