The Wardens of Avalon Playtest starts tomorrow! Here’s How to Join.

It’s time to join the Twilight Knights as our playtest starts tomorrow, and runs until July 6! Join the fray today and have your say in the future of Wardens of Avalon, our Action RPG set within a dark Arthurian world!
We have two ways for our brave Knights to join the playtest:
Peer to Peer - The Wardens of Avalon playtest is available directly within Steam for those playing solo or peer-to-peer. Players can launch their own single or multiplayer campaign and have friends join them to rebuild Avalon. Importantly, friends will not be able to access the world server without the server owner being present, and progress will be limited to the host’s campaign.
Dedicated Servers - We have a limited number of dedicated servers, allowing players to join a persistent world (with servers hosted by our partners at Nitrado). To create a free dedicated server for the playtest, you’ll need a code from us - which you can request here. This means any player can join at any time, without requiring a player host.
For Knights requesting a dedicated server - once you’ve filled out the request link above, keep an eye on your email. We’ll be getting in touch to let you know if you’ve been successful, or whether you’ll have to wait for the next round to get involved with a dedicated server.
If you are one of our lucky Knights that receive a code, you’ll need to follow a couple of steps to set up your free Wardens of Avalon dedicated server:
Head to the Nitrado Wardens of Avalon Portal to redeem the code
Sign up for a free account
Enter your voucher code and click Redeem
This will allow you to instantly claim your new server. While this is a streamlined process, our team are available on Discord should you need a hand within standard working hours, and happy to help our new Knights get settled in Avalon.
A note - you only need to request a code if you and your fellow Knights want to keep a persistent multiplayer world. Until July 6, If you are rebuilding Avalon as a solo player or inviting friends to join your world, you can request access to the playtest through Steam without needing to sign up for a separate account.
