Two important piece of news for you today:
The price of Enshrouded is increasing by €10, to €39.99 (or the equivalent in your denomination of choice) on September 8.
Until then, the game is the cheapest it's ever been at €22,49 (ǝɔᴉoɥɔ ɟo uoᴉʇɐuᴉɯouǝp ɹnoʎ uᴉ ʇuǝlɐʌᴉnbǝ ǝɥʇ ɹo) as part of Steam's PVE Survival Crafting Fest.
Why is the price of Enshrouded increasing?
Simply put, over the course of its Early Access, Enshrouded has grown and improved immensely, both in terms of features and content. We've always planned to increase the price once early access ends (it's in our Early Access FAQ!), and more importantly, this will allow us to keep developing the game further, for as long as possible.
I was going to wait for 1.0. Should I get the game now?
If you want to enjoy a significant discount over the release price, now is a great time to get the game! Between the price increase and the discount, this means that right now, you can pick up Enshrouded for €22.49, which is almost €17.50 cheaper than the release price! But if you're not sure and you would rather wait and see on release, that's fine by us and it's an entirely reasonable course of action.
I already own the game, why are you telling me this?
We have a detailed model of our player community and our estimates tell us that most of you know at least one (1) other person. That person in turn may be interested in getting Enshrouded on the cheap, especially before the price increase.
