Our October 15th release date is almost close enough to touch, being a little over 6 weeks away, so we've started sharing some of the changes we're making to Enshrouded. For now, we're focusing on existing stuff, and how we're improving features and systems that are already in the game. The improvements mentioned in the following video are just some of the bigger changes we're making, with a much longer list waiting for you in the Highlights video (and the release changelog) in October!
The other big challenge we're tackling for 1.0 is making Enshrouded's performance better, after years of adding systems, details, making the thing more beautiful, etc. We really wanted to get the game to perform much better including on lower and middle-range systems, especially because someone keeps adding forests full of bamboo to the game for some reason!! Joke aside, this is our second ever look behind the scenes, and we hope you'll enjoy to learn about the nuts and bolts of what makes Enshrouded tick, and what magic is at work behind the curtains.
We have more videos coming out in a few weeks, although currently part of the team is at Gamescom, demoing some of the upcoming changes to the games press, as well as the PS5 version. Beyond that, September is going to be ripe with dozens of cool games coming out, so we're sure you'll have something to stay busy until the next video...
