Dear Players & Community,
The wait is finally over! Today marks the most significant milestone in our journey: The Birth Cry is officially leaving Early Access with Update v1.20!
What started as a humble solo project has evolved into a complete, atmospheric psychological horror experience thanks to your continuous feedback, bug reports, and patience.
Expanded Narrative (Sewer Shelter Facility): The storyline has been substantially expanded! Explore the all-new Sewer Shelter facility—uncover deeper secrets and face new horrors hidden beneath Nesgrad.
New Info Points System: Got stuck on a tricky puzzle or section? Newly placed interactive Info Points will now guide you through challenging areas without breaking your immersion.
Atmospheric Audio Rework: Resolved key audio bugs and completely overhauled environmental soundscapes for maximum tension and immersion.
Texture & Visual Fixes: Applied major texture overhaul passes, fixing seamless material glitches and visual artifacts across all environments.
Gameplay Flow & Technical Stability: Resolved critical technical bugs and gameplay flow issues to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted playthrough from start to finish.
Full 4-Language Support: In-game localization has been fully polished! The game now officially supports 4 languages (Interface & Subtitles) with zero missing text.
Since the single-player storyline is now fully realized, polished, and feature-complete, The Birth Cry is officially exiting Early Access.
Leaving Early Access doesn't mean the end of our journey—it means the foundation is rock solid. Thank you all for supporting a solo developer through every patch, technical hurdle, and update.
Step into the Sewer Shelter if you dare... and welcome to the Full Release!
