Happy Halloween! Version 2.5 brings a limited-time Halloween Festival and a big round of changes you asked for. Your gold, cards and tanks are all kept, and there is nothing you need to do.
Halloween Festival (until January 7)
- Open the festival with the new pumpkin button in the bottom bar.
- Earn candy by caring for your fish: every hungry fish you feed by hand gives +1 candy (up to 10 per tank each feeding), and cleaning the glass with the sponge gives +5 to +20.
- Trade candy for five animated decorations: the Jack-o'-Lantern flickers and giggles, the Ghostly Tombstone has a little ghost floating above it, the Witch's Cauldron bubbles and steams, the Haunted Tree sways while something blinks inside its hollow, and the Haunted Castle has waving flags, candle-lit windows and a bat circling its towers.
- They glow beautifully at night. Try the moon button!
- The festival decorations can only be traded for until January 7. The ones you get are yours to keep.
See the rarity of every fish
- Fish windows now use the same colors as the cards: gray Common, blue Rare, purple Epic and gold Legendary.
- Plant and coral windows use the same colors too.
A new fish slot at every level
- Every player level now adds one fish slot to each of your tanks, up to 100 fish per tank.
- If you are already at a high level, your tanks have grown the moment you start the game.
- Tank upgrades still raise the base fish limit and the decoration limit.
Care gives EXP
- Feeding hungry fish by hand now gives EXP.
- Cleaning the glass with the sponge gives more EXP, growing with your level.
New: auto-cleaner
- Buy an auto-cleaner for any tank in Store > Tanks, for 7 or 30 days. While it runs, the glass stays clean.
- A black internal filter appears on the side glass and sprays a stream of bubbles that drift up and fade away.
- The auto-feeder and the auto-cleaner are now priced by the size of the tank, so they are affordable from your first level. A clock icon on the tank card shows when they are running.
Economy rebalance
- All rarities now earn almost the same gold per hour (2 to 2.6 per fish). Rarity is about collecting, not about income, and lucky pulls no longer snowball.
- Epic and Legendary cards are a little rarer in packs and decks, so the collection lasts longer.
- Cure prices are lower for rare fish.
Smaller eyes and fixes
- Fish keep their round bodies, but their eyes are back to their original, smaller size.
- Fixed a rare error on the loading screen when entering the game.
