The Sundered Spire
A new endless raid, gear upgrades, reworked raids, new art for 84 monsters, a new top bar and satchel screen, and a lot of QOL and bug fixes.
The new raid
A new endless raid, unlocked at Combat level 99. It never ends: every floor is harder than the last, and your highest floor is your score.
You keep your loot. Each floor gives its loot as soon as you clear it, so dying doesn't lose anything.
Every 5th floor is a boss. Bosses drop Spire arrows and bolts, and have a chance to drop Spire gear. The chance goes up the higher you get.
Floors come in sets of 5. Each set uses the monsters from one zone or raid, made stronger. Every third set uses the Spire's own 9 monsters.
Some Spire monsters heal over time, and some attack faster when they're low on health.
Spire Curse: every 10 floors you get a stacking curse: 4% less Defence and 3% slower attacks per stack.
Daily modifiers: each day has 2 that make the Spire harder and 1 that helps you. You can see them before you start.
Be sure to bring lots of food for the spire! It will use your supply quickly at higher floors!

Spire gear
Sunderedge (sword): each hit adds 2.5% damage against that enemy, up to +20%.
Faultward (shield): +4 Momentum every time it blocks an attack.
Plummet (bow): 22% of shots ignore the enemy's Defence.
Stonewright Gauntlets: light gloves with +3 Momentum per hit and no ranged accuracy penalty.
Sundershaft arrows and Sunderbolts: only drop in the Spire, in big stacks from bosses. Only the best bows and crossbows can use them.
Ascension (gear upgrades)
Upgrade your raid gear with Sunderstone, plus Spire Cores from rank 7.
Each rank adds 6% to the item's Attack, Strength and Defence. Ranks on gear you're wearing also give a bit of max health and damage reduction.
Max rank: Sunken Barrow gear 5, Emberforge 7, Abyssal Throne 9, Empyrean Throne and Spire gear 10. Only raid gear (tier 7 and up) can be upgraded.
Salvage turns spare raid gear into Sunderstone. Salvaging an upgraded item gives back half of what you spent on it.
Raids, reworked
Momentum: hitting enemies and clearing stages builds Momentum. Spend it on 3 abilities with keys 1, 2 and 3:
Rally heal 25% of your health, remove debuffs
Ruin deal 60% more damage for 8 seconds
Brace take 70% less damage for 6 seconds
Charged attacks: a ring closes around the boss before a big attack. Use Brace against big hits. Some can be stopped by dealing enough damage before the ring closes, which also gives you Momentum back.
Auto-cast is on by default, so raids still work while you idle. Although it is not as accurate as manual casting.
No single hit in a raid can do more than 45% of your max health.
All 27 raid monsters have new art, and every raid has its own background, with a separate one for the boss fight.
The raid menu is a grid of cards showing each raid's boss, level, stages, your best result and the S rank time.
Fixed: raid tooltips weren't showing.
Fixed: raids showed the background of the last zone you fought in.
New weapons
4 new ranged weapons with special effects, dropped by monsters that had no gear drops before:
Thornbite Shortbow poison Thornback Stag
Rimeshot Shortbow stun Snow Leopard
Mammothhorn Longbow cleave Ice Mammoth
Ashlock Crossbow burn Dust Stalker
Each one is a little weaker than the crafted weapon of the same tier, but has its effect.
Sunpiercer now works as a bow (it used to act like a melee weapon) and can burn enemies.
Bows can only use arrows up to one tier higher than the bow.
Monsters and the Field Guide
All 57 zone monsters have new art.
The Combat page is now a Field Guide: pick a zone, then see each monster's stats and full drop table. The fight screen opens when you start a fight.
Achievements
29 new achievements (Ranged, Sailing, Guilds, Slayer and raids).
Fixed: Ashen Ascendant could unlock with two skills still below 99.
Top bar and Back button
New top bar with a button for each page: Skills, Combat, Sailing, Satchel, Shop, Guilds, Mastery, Log, Awards. The highlighted button is the page you're on.
Every page has a Back button in the same place, and Esc works too. It takes you to the page you were on before.
Combat's tabs moved up next to the page title to save space.
Leaving the Combat page doesn't stop your fight, and the Combat button glows while a fight is running.
Inside a guild, Back takes you to the guild list.
You can drag the skills on the left into any order.
Satchel
The satchel has its own screen: your gear and stats on the left, items in the middle, item details on the right.
Make your own tabs. Drag an item onto + to make a new tab, or onto a tab to move it there.
Double-click a tab to rename it. You can also change its icon and drag tabs to reorder them. New tabs go at the end.
Drag gear onto your equipment slots to equip it. Slots it fits in light up, and turn red if your level is too low.
Items show as icons with names, all on one page.
Gear you're wearing no longer takes up a satchel slot.
Gear and presets
New equipment layout screen.
New gear menu when you click a slot: what you're wearing at the top, your other options below (best first), with green and red numbers showing what changes. Hover an item for full stats. Gear you can't use yet shows the level you need.
Enchanted gear shows a small spark, and socketed gear shows a dot for each socket (colored when it has a gem), so you can tell items apart.
Tooltips show what your gems do, and gear comparisons include gems and enchants.
Combat loadouts: save a Melee and a Ranged setup and switch between them in one click.
Skill presets only show gear for that skill plus general gear. New option: equip a skill's preset automatically when you start that skill.
Fixed: Agility tools and Runner's Shoes kept unequipping each other.
Fixed: presets saved your tools, so loading an old preset could swap your best axe for a worse one. Presets no longer include tools.
Gold
Windfall: a new enchant for Dragon, Bloodstone and Void jewelry: +20%, +25% or +30% gold. On your combat gear it boosts gold from kills, raids and the Spire. On your skilling gear it boosts gold from Thieving and Agility.
The Coin Purse now boosts all gold you earn (Thieving, Agility, kills, raids, the Spire and offline), not just selling.
Iron Legion and Quiet Hand titles weren't doing anything, and neither was the Nightmarket's selling bonus. They work now, and the bonuses from each title add together:

Quiet Hand +7% crit chance, rare monsters 35% more often
Nightmarket +10% gold when selling (not stolen goods)
Skill trees
10 skill tree nodes that did nothing now work:

Slippery +0.8% steal success chance
Splitter +1 shaft per log
Quiverfull +1 arrow or bolt per craft
Keen Heads +0.4% ranged accuracy
Practised Draw +0.2% ranged damage
Windcutter +0.2% chance a shot can't miss

Heads up: Second Pocket was giving double Thieving XP by mistake. It's now a 10% chance for an extra steal that gives loot but no XP.
The four ranged combat nodes are small on purpose. All maxed, they add about 5% ranged damage.
Node text no longer says things like "+3% to 3%", and locked nodes show what they do.
Untouchable, Phoenix Rebirth and Fletcher's Thrift have clearer descriptions.
Bulk Fletcher and Woodsong now show the right numbers, and Fletching's skill tree art now shows up.
Combat
Bows and crossbows now need your Ranged level instead of Attack. Arrows show which bows can use them.
Armour shows if it's light or heavy, and how much heavy armour lowers your ranged accuracy. Fixed: raid leather armour was counted as heavy.
Auto-eat now keeps eating until you're back above your set health. It used to eat only once per enemy attack, so strong enemies could kill you with food left.
Food tooltips no longer get cut off, the food list is a grid again, and it stops jumping back to the top after every kill. Same for the Monster Log and combat log.
Offline kills now count for the Monster Log and guild kill quests.
Guilds
Quests now say "N times", and failed actions (no materials, full satchel) no longer count.
No more quests for items made from boss trophies. You only get one trophy per boss, so those could never be finished.
Fishing and Mining's second action bars now count for guild quests.
Guild pages show the total bonus from your titles.
Skill cards
Action cards show how many items each action makes.
Thieving cards list what you can steal. Seed cards show what they grow. Cooking cards show their level.
Smithing has new Bars and Arrowheads & Bolt Tips tabs. Shields and Bucklers have separate tabs. Arrows and bolts are now under Combat Gear.
One-time crafts (trophy items, tools) no longer show mastery bars that could never fill.
Clearer text
Rewrote confusing text all over the game so it says what things actually do: the Spire, raids, combat stats, skill tree tooltips, sailing, gear and more.
Art
Jewelry icons no longer have white outlines, and diamonds have their white color back.
