From here on out, a really fun part of development begins.

I have already started working on the very last area of the game, which will be a little different in design and execution. I mentioned this elsewhere, but I think Mononmyth could use more strange aesthetics, and the endgame is the perfect place to bring that in.

As for game completeness, beta 4 will be the last big patch containing new areas. There will be more balance and polishing patches (and I might save the final confrontation for the actual last patch before release), but after that, Monomyth will be done from a content perspective.

Some of you have asked me whether 1.0 will still happen in 2026. That would probably not be a realistic goal, and I don't want to make any promises I can't keep. Regardless, I'll try to get as much content as possible into the game until the end of the year.

I am also working on improvements to existing areas. The sewers will receive a full redesign, which I will probably release next.

A lot of work is still on the To-Do-List, so I'll get back to it.

As always, I'll keep you updated!

Have fun with the new areas, and best wishes,

Michael
