The inn has seven rules, and some of them have exceptions.
Rule III says: if you are touched, lower your eyes. But if the hand that touched you was small and pale, you must not. That is the hand of a child waiting to be met, and looking away means leaving them behind.
The rules are written on the wall — but as the nights go on, the ink fades until you can no longer read them. Memorise them while you still can, or face the night without them.
The demo of Rules of the Inn covers the first three nights.
