📢 [July Development Log]

Hello Mechanics,

The hot weather has continued, and it has become a time when we need to take extra care of ourselves as a team. We hope all of you are taking care of your health as well.

Development on D1AL-ogue+ is still progressing. The individual character stories we mentioned previously are gradually nearing completion, and more characters who will fill Chroma City are continuing to take shape.

Here is the July development update for our next title, [D1AL-ogue+].

1. What's Been Completed

• Cien Animation: Cien’s character animation has been added.

• Himiko Repair Animation: Himiko’s repair animation has been added.

• Individual Story Additions: The work on individual character stories is almost complete. Through these stories, you will be able to hear more about each character’s personal circumstances and the stories they carry.

• Controller Support: Based on the feedback you shared in the previous development log, we are adding controller support. We plan to continue improving the feel of the controls through further testing.

2. What's Next

• Translation Preparation:

  We are currently organizing the story content and preparing for translation.

  We are checking the text carefully so that the flow of the story and the ideas we want to convey can come through clearly, even in other languages.

• Character Additions:

  The characters who will fill Chroma City are gradually taking shape one by one.

  While we cannot show everything just yet, we are preparing each character so they can bring their own color to the city.

• Performance Improvements:

  Alongside development on the next title, we are also working on performance and stability improvements.

  We are reviewing issues and points of inconvenience identified in the previous title as well, with the goal of creating a more stable gameplay environment.

• Puzzle Gimmick Review:

  We are testing various gimmicks to better bring out the fun of the puzzles.

  However, we felt that adding too many gimmicks could make the core appeal of the puzzles less clear, so we are currently reviewing the puzzle rules and gimmick structure again.

3-1. About the Next Title

D1AL-ogue+ is a new story that takes place after the events of D1AL-ogue.

Six months after the previous title, Chris and Michelle become involved in an incident that must be resolved within one month. What they will choose within that limited time, and what truths they will come face to face with, will be revealed in the next title.
