The fifth gameplay patch is now live with the following changes:
Visuals
- Fixed a problem with train cars sometimes briefly appearing in the wrong position
- Fixed LOD building for train cars to happen behind the scenes instead of overlapping the base model
- Fixed discontinuities in normals and texture coordinates for some models generated from cross sections like road surfaces
- Fixed material colour loading from .mtl files (fixes Class 205 cable colours)
- Fixed custom materials to use smoothness slider value when also using a metallic/smoothness map (was previously always 100% causing a shiny surface)
- Fixed possibly missing custom models on the Laguna Paiva workshop route
- Possibly fixed grass sometimes being loaded only partially
- Restored some brown vegetation near the North Landen portal
All editors
- Fixed editor side panel bug where a wrong item would be shown after selecting an option from a list
- Fixed parsing of certain length and position values to only accept decimal period (instead of comma) in some editor fields, regardless of the operating system setting
Train editor
- Fixed train editor to highlight some parts of the models correctly when hovering over with the mouse pointer
- Added 3D-gizmo
Route editor
- Fixed grids to remain intact when increasing divisions by more than one at a time
- Fixed adding a new grid to also open the model node parts of the properties on the side panel
- Fixed terrain triangulation not being triggered when adding a new terrain node on top of an existing edge
- Fixed a possible crash when adding or removing terrain nodes
- Attempted to fix a possible crash when quickly updating terrain presets or other types
DEM importing
The route editor now supports two methods of importing digital elevation maps (DEM):
- Adding a grid, loading the height of its nodes from a greyscale image file and converting them into terrain nodes
- Loading terrain nodes directly from a text file (through the route properties side panel option)

Miscellaneous
- Fixed a rare signal animation related crash
- Unified cab control and train editor model highlighting. The old outlining method for cab controls had performance issues
- Removed option to reference models from other vehicles and routes (as a model source)
- Removed legacy pack support (not the newer "pack2")
- Optimised grass rendering memory consumption
