Hello, Friends of The Guild,

It's been exactly one week since we launched The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410 into Early Access, and what a week it was! Thanks to everyone who’s played our game, joined us on our Early Access journey, and shared constructive feedback with us! We’re thrilled by the community’s positive response - your suggestions show us that we are on the right track and also point out what we need to work on to keep it that way.The feedback we received from our community is important and valuable for our team, and we are already working on our regular update for October based on what you told us about your experience with our game. In this news post, we want to tell you more about our plans for this update - but before we get to that, we also want to acknowledge the issues some of you have reported. We are preparing a minor update that will bring many fixes and improvements tomorrow, Friday, September 25th 2026.

Minor Update: What Can You Look Forward To?

Although the upcoming minor update is focusing on issues reported by you, it will also bring back a bee-loved feature we had to cut at the last minute from the recent release.

Yes, the upcoming minor update will finally allow you to give your queen bees a cosy home again. But not only that, we have expanded the beehive gameplay, and it is no longer a building that just gives you passive income!

Another new feature this minor update will include is a first version of storefront automation: you will be able to specify the target stock above which your workers will put the crafted items directly into the storefront instead of the storage. This is just another step in our journey to improve building automation, but because it is much requested, we moved it up our list.

Because automation is such a highly requested topic, we will soon do an in-depth dev diary about it and how the economy works in our game. We already talked about economy in a previous dev diary, but this time we want to go a bit deeper and give you more technical insights, so stay tuned!

Economy has also been improved, and you can now see a full price breakdown in the price tooltip for each item, including prices across the city so you can better decide which items to produce and where to buy and sell.

It wouldn't be an update without any fixes, and we will include quite a few of those. The upcoming patch will improve many of the issues you have reported; most importantly, it will improve performance, especially in late game, balancing fixes for the city treasury, crime rate and burglaries and fixing general bugs like carts not being up for sale anymore or no suitable courting candidates available. We will, of course, publish a full list of all changes and fixes tomorrow when we release the minor update!

October Update: A Sneak Peek

Our first regular update - as promised on our roadmap - includes bugfixes, balancing, and quality of life improvements. Thanks to your feedback, we’ve been able to prioritize and tailor these improvements even further, but the biggest feature for this update will be the finished implementation of Masters and Overseers. You will be able to promote workers to Overseers or assign family members as Masters and give them specific orders on how to manage your business. These managers of production businesses, together with the managers of storage sheds, will allow you to automate complex production chains where one of your businesses supplies another with ingredients or intermediate products. Another part of the upcoming regular update will be proper dynasty management: Arrange marriages (or break off engagements), properly name your dynasty, your kids, buildings and carts! This regular update is scheduled to come out in October, so stay tuned for more.Thank you once more for your support and feedback on our Early Access journey so far! Your passion paves our path forward for an amazing Europa 1410 - we can’t wait to share even more improvements and features with you down the road. Keep the feedback coming!

Technically, this is still a minor update, but it doesn’t feel that small to us anymore. With this update, we improved and brought back the beehives: lure in a swarm, keep it happy and harvest beeswax and honey.
