Hello Prospectors!
The Bandits DLC doesn't just bring new enemies and new challenges. It also expands the world of Alaska Gold Fever with several new territories and locations to explore.
The new areas are colder, wilder, and much more dangerous. You'll have to travel through frozen forests, cross open wilderness, and explore places controlled by the bandits. Recommended as "end game" exploration ;)
🧊 Frozen Lake
One of the new areas is a frozen lake, but don't expect a peaceful walk across the ice.
This is the place where you'll face one of the more intense fights in the new territory. With bandits around and little room to hide, you'll need to be ready for a serious shootout.
🥃 Moonshine Distillery
High on top of a hill, you'll find the bandits' moonshine distillery.
Getting there means making your way through the new territory first, but reaching the distillery is only the beginning. If you manage to take control of it, you can turn the operation to your advantage and start producing moonshine yourself.
🌲 Through the Frozen Forest
The journey between locations will take you through a frozen forest, where the weather and terrain make travelling feel very different from the areas you've already explored.
🦌 Wildlife-Filled Moorlands
The new moorlands offer a completely different landscape. They may look open and peaceful, but they're filled with wildlife.
Some animals can become your next meal. Others would rather make you their meal. Keep your eyes open as you travel through the area.
🔥 Bandit Camp
And then there is the main bandit camp.
Hidden among the new territories, the camp becomes especially atmospheric as the sun begins to set. With fires burning and bandits occupying the area, it won't exactly feel like a welcoming place.
⛏️ Mine at the Top of the Mountain
One of the new gold mines can be found high on top of a frozen mountain.
Getting there won't be easy, and the mine itself is controlled by bandits. You'll have to reach the mountain, deal with its inhabitants, and take the mine back before you can start looking for its gold.
And these are only some of the places waiting for you.
There are several more locations hidden across the new territory, but we'll leave those for you to discover!
We don't want to spoil everything, after all. 😉
