Every weapon in the Black Market now has a Prestige version — a gold-plated upgrade for hackers who have outgrown their arsenal.

Prestige weapons are a serious investment. They cost far more than the original weapon, but they hit on a completely different scale.

• All 11 weapons have a Prestige version
• 25× packet damage compared to the standard version
• Identical RAM cost — a Prestige weapon takes up exactly the same slot space as its normal counterpart
• Prestige pricing runs from 200B for the Ping Package up to 25Qa for Man In The Middle

🔓 How It Works

Buy a weapon in the Black Market as usual. Once it is unlocked, its card offers Upgrade to Prestige — pay the price and the weapon is permanently upgraded for the rest of your run.

Like every other Black Market unlock, Prestige upgrades reset on Rebuild.

🏆 Gold Across the Whole Interface

A Prestige weapon looks the part everywhere it appears — packets fly with an animated gold shader, and every icon that represents the weapon turns gold with it.

• Animated gold shader on packets — hatching, shimmer sweep and edge glow
• Gold icons in the Black Market, Active Payloads and the Statistics panel
• Weapon names carry a tag
• Each weapon keeps its own hatch pattern in gold, so they stay easy to tell apart

💥 Reworked Special Effects

Weapons with unique mechanics get their signature effects recolored in Prestige:

• EMP Burst — the blue detonation blast now erupts in gold
• Zero Day Exploit — the red instability flicker turns gold-yellow
• Worm Payload — the chain lightning arcs in gold
• Man In The Middle — the rotating lasers burn amber-gold

🌍 Localization

All new Prestige text is fully translated into every supported language.
