Hello everyone,
soon I will be uploading a balancing patch, intended to target some of the less popular ships and provide them with opportunities for buildcrafting and specialization. Smaller ships and those with a single weapon slot in particular are difficult to gain significant power with, so I have added native set bonuses to 8 ships:
The Corvette has received a native Marathon point to solidify its role as the #1 speedy boy
The Destroyer has received a native Golem point to offset its awkward handling and allow it to build into a "hazard zone specialist" role
The Drone Carrier has received a native Summoner point, adding to its existing drone respawning speed buff to make it more competite with verdant drone ships
The Mosquito has received a native Polymath point, further enhancing its base stat strength and making it easier to build it toward high armor and hull
The Wasp has received a native Lancer point, helping cannon/missile builds to augment its drone slot
The Ant has received a native Sharpshooter point to compliment its strong sensors and help it into a kiting role
The Lophius has received a native Gunner point, which can be used to turn it into a nimble long-range gunboat
The ******* has received a native Alchemist point, offsetting the single weapon slot
In addition to this, all Blackguard ships now have a small chance to roll a non-summoner set bonus on embark. These set bonuses naturally stack with engineering, so it's now possible to start with up to 4 points of a set already applied.
I've also fixed a bug related to Drone Carrier cruise particles, these should now properly follow the ship's shape.
Since we also got another piece of great coverage courtesy of SplatterCatGaming:
I want to welcome everybody new who's found the game recently on account of this renewed publicity! I hope you enjoy it, and make sure to let me know what you think either on the discussion forums here on Steam or the official Discord!
