We would like to formally note that the current round of optimization has reached its conclusion. This batch focused on refining core systems and addressing several outstanding issues. Key improvements included:
Correction of zombie spawn rates to align with intended balance.
Resolution of NPC dialogue and audio inconsistencies.
Rebalancing of Mech and Jetpack stamina systems.
Introduction of a free Mech to the Mech Bay.
Implementation of a new method for scaling difficulty.
Spawner adjustments to accelerate encounter pacing.
Removal of the gate to streamline progression.
With these refinements complete, development efforts will now shift toward the next map. This upcoming environment is designed to emphasize smaller, more intimate encounters, encouraging closer player engagement and a heightened sense of atmosphere. The transition marks a deliberate move from broad optimization toward focused narrative and gameplay design.
