Hi Everyone,
We've been hard at work building & testing the new economy system, and we're ready to show it off in the demo. The update should be live now. Major changes with the economy system:
Lobby button is gone as is expand industry button; replaced with income that scales with tension
Politics screen allows the player to split income between 4 priorities
Can more easily create long-term production programs and pay for arms deals over time
Here's a list of the updates up to the current version:
V0.9.0
New Economy System
Income split between 4 priorities
Lobby button removed
Added option to pay over time to enable larger purchases
Can increase diplomatic funding for more envoys
Removed expiry timer from envoys
Increase concurrent arms deal limit from 3 to 6
V0.9.1
Continued balance fixes
Created a hard break with saves from old versions to avoid errors
Fixed a bug with arms deals delivering too early
Fixed a bug with negative income displaying as positive
Prevented the player from signing new arms deals if treasury is negative
Many backend stability fixes
Fixed a bug causing vehicle-to-vehicle combat to be less lethal than it should be
V0.9.2
Updated errors in Israeli IFV data
Rebalanced tank hard attack & armor to better match real world counterparts
Made low readiness less punishing. Still matters, but won't completely disable a unit
Added a display that shows missing equipment on the stats screen
Shrank installer size for convenience
Made less-capable aircraft more likely to be shot down than advanced aircraft
Fixed a bug related to CAS aircraft being too powerful against fighters in certain cases
Increased penalties for fully losing a sector
The plan is to keep refining this system ahead of full release, and get everything else polished and ready. Enjoy!
