As all Warriors know well, 'Battlefront', the core content of this Season of Competition, finally opened last Tuesday. I am also watching the fierce struggle of Inter-Server powerhouses to claim 'Audhumla' in this supreme hunting ground and battlefield with great interest every day. If you have not yet experienced this burning heat, we hope you join the giant battlefield and prove your steadfast strength.
Just as intense as the Battlefront, many sharp feedback and meaningful suggestions from our Warriors were submitted to 'Voice of YMIR' in Week 4. This week as well, as the Director, I would like to candidly answer the questions you are curious about regarding our direction.
Here are the results of our initial review regarding the top 5 topics of week 4.

Summary
Comment & Target Schedule
1st
System
5-Player/15-Player Group DPS Meter Addition
[Partially Accepted] To prevent negative side effects such as party conflicts, we will prepare to introduce it focusing on Large-scale competitive Content where many Users join together.
2nd
YMIR Cup
Introduction of 'Standardized Gear (Stat Equalization)' to the Championship League
[Event Under Review] While we cannot change the rules of the regular league, we will look into hosting a separate event match where players can compete purely based on skill.
3rd
Honor Badge
Obtaining Honor Badge via Inter-Server PvP
[Alternative Plan Under Review] To prevent side effects from one-sided PK, we are considering placing additional contested monsters in Inter-Server areas.
4th
Saga
Adding Exploration Elements Such as Hidden Passages and Secret Quests
[Accepted/Under Review] We deeply sympathize with the fun of adventure, and will reinforce exploration-type content beyond simple farming.
5th
Membership
Adding Hall of Gold gWEMIX Piece Drop Rate to Membership Benefits
[To Be Added] Rather than a simple Chance (%) increase, we are considering adding a benefit that increases the actual "amount acquired" when Pieces drop.
Beyond simple acceptance, we would like to explain the specific direction of improvements and the reasons for rejection.
1. Group DPS Meter Feature Addition (1st Agenda Item)
Warriors requested the addition of DPS statistics system to help determine character growth direction and aid the team's growth.
Answer: We are technically ready. However, if a DPS meter is introduced, we are concerned about severe side effects such as excluding specific Classes or causing conflicts within the party. Therefore, we will introduce it at an appropriate time by implementing safety measures, such as excluding exposure in sensitive areas like nightmare difficulty, and displaying it only for upper tier users centered around large-scale competitive content such as field boss contribution. We will continue to consider providing various ways to measure character strength.
2. Introduction of 'Standardized Gear Character' to the YMIR Cup (2nd Agenda Item)
Warriors have suggested introducing standardized Characters for a fair e-sports tournament focused on skill and build optimization rather than capital.
Answer: We recognize the tremendous effort and investment our top-tier Warriors have poured into their progression. To protect the value of their hard work, changing the rules of the regular YMIR Cup would go against fairness, and therefore, it cannot be implemented. Instead, we are positively considering hosting a separate 'Stat Equalization Match' event, independent of the regular YMIR Cup. This would put everyone on an even playing field with standardized gear, allowing players to compete purely based on mechanics and strategy.
3. Addition of Honor Badge Acquisition Routes Through Inter-Server PvP (3rd Agenda Item)
Warriors suggested a system where Honor Badges are taken and lost upon killing users from other servers to provide goals and activate PvP.
Answer: We sympathize with the need to provide meaningful goals for PvP Users. However, a system that simply awards rewards for Kills can result in severe side effects where Users with high Growth Power unilaterally slaughter Users with low Growth Power, which risks damaging a healthy Game ecosystem instead. Therefore, instead of direct Kill rewards between users, we are preparing an alternative direction to create another purpose and reason for competition in Inter-Server regions through healthy, purposeful conflicts and rewards by additionally placing new mini-bosses or competitive event monsters like 'Myolant' within the Inter-Server.
4. Saga: Addition of Secret Passage and Exploration Elements (4th Agenda Item)
Warriors suggested adding exploration elements and secret quests instead of using beautiful maps purely as auto hunting grounds.
Answer: I deeply agree with our Warriors who feel it is a shame to see the vast, carefully crafted Norse mythological world of Legend of YMIR, built with Unreal Engine 5, utilized merely as an "auto-hunting ground." We are truly grateful for the deep affection you have shown for the game's lore and graphics. Taking your suggestions to heart, we will expand our content to break away from the monotony of repetitive farming. Instead, we want to provide the joy of manually exploring every corner of the map to make your own discoveries. We will actively bring back the true "spirit of adventure" inherent to MMORPGs by introducing elements like secret passages that require specific conditions to unlock, and exploration-based quests that unravel hidden stories.
5. Increased gWEMIX Piece Drops in Hall of Gold Added to Membership Benefits (5th Agenda Item)
An opinion suggested adding an increased chance for gWEMIX Piece drops in the Hall of Gold to membership benefits to address both economic balance and player perks simultaneously.
Answer: Thank you for the great suggestion. To provide benefits that Warriors can truly feel rather than a simple percentage increase, the development team is looking into a plan to directly increase the 'Piece Acquisition Amount' obtained when a piece drops.
In addition to the Top 5 agenda items, we would like to inform you of the details that are being rapidly improved based on various feedback sent by Warriors.
Convenience and System Improvements
Bulk Potential Enhancement Feature: We are currently reviewing a convenience feature that will allow you to enter desired target values using a calculator UI format to bulk enhance Potential skills at once.
Mobile Environment Looting Integration: To resolve the discomfort mobile Warriors experience when looting Field Boss chests, we will update the game as soon as possible to include opening chests under the "Auto Gather" setting.
Class, Content, and Balanced Adjustments
Class Balanced Status: We are analyzing the recent combat metrics for the Volva, Berserker, and Warlord in detail, and are preparing balance adjustments based on this data.
Server Battle Hearts Mode System: We agree with the opinion to diversify battlefield modes (Unlimited Health Mode, Hearts Mode, etc.) to enhance strategic fun. However, as we are currently in the stage of stably perfecting the renewed Server Battle rules, additional modes will be discussed after the current improvements are fully completed.
Clan Sanctuary and Summon Renewal: We are planning an overall renewal of Clan Sanctuary Bosses and Summoned Boss, and are currently adjusting the schedule for application so that it can be applied as quickly as possible.
Offline Mode Gap Supplementation: Currently, Offline Mode is structured so that the stage after 'King's Tomb (Recommended Growth Power 150,000)' jumps directly to the highest difficulty, 'Lindwurm Cave (Recommended Combat Power 240,000)'. As a result, even Warriors who have steadily raised their stats to 180,000 or 190,000 have no choice but to stay in the 150,000 dungeon until they reach 240,000. To relieve this frustration, we will add new medium stages for the 170,000, 190,000, and 210,000 brackets in Offline Mode to provide appropriate Offline Mode efficiency commensurate with Warriors' growth.
Answer to Others Suggestions
Dedicated Stat for Fixed Damage Bosses (Loki, etc.) and Improvement of Hit Feedback: We agree with your sentiment that no matter how much you grow your character, it is difficult to feel the reward of spec-ups or hit feedback when facing bosses that only take fixed damage. To return the inherent RPG "fun of growth," we are positively reviewing expanding the source of the "Weaken Absolute DEF" Stat, which can pierce these bosses' defense mechanisms and deal additional damage. However, if this stat is released without limits, it could cause the collapse of boss difficulty balance and lead to in-game inflation. Therefore, we will meticulously design and introduce it within a range that does not harm the balanced state by linking a clear supply cap (limit) to content rewards and products.
Suggestion to Add Options for Season NFI Equipment: We are positively considering this and are exploring various ways to grant phased utility options to Season limited NFI equipment if necessary.
We are carefully reviewing every valuable piece of feedback you have sent us, and the confirmed development schedule will be detailed in a future notice. Wishing you victory on the Battlefront, Legend of YMIR will continue to grow alongside the honest feedback of our Warriors.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Kim Sung-hee, Director of Legend of YMIR
