At long last I'm finally able to officially announce this:

Our prologue has launched! Give it a shot if you haven't yet; it's free and will unlock you custom Unit Colors:

... Without beating around the bush this time, here are the...

CHANGES

  • The COMPANY Tab is finally here! Customize your Ship (Color + Trail Color) AND the color of ALL your Units from a single place... Raise your SCORE (now also viewable directly within the same menu) to unlock cooler and cooler combinations for your Ship, and unlock Custom Unit Colors by beating the Tutorial of our Prologue - Endless Tactics: Trial Run!

  • HUGE Build-Size Reduction! From ~500 MB down to a mere 250 MB! MASSIVELY faster load times as a bonus!

  • MAJOR Optimizations to the Whole Game! The Main Menu now runs at roughly DOUBLE the FPS, while other Menus (and Operations too!) should see roughly a 20-30% increase in average FPS. Load times have been further reduced as well!

  • Major Balance Changes & Reworks: The Tunnel ability from Apex Enemy Burrowfang has been streamlined for much better readability, counterplay, and intuitiveness; Nest Scaling has been separated from Enemy Unit Scaling; and Nest Spawn picking logic has been FULLY reworked, considerably speeding up the early game.

  • Major Improvements to the Tutorial (Trial Run): Less dialogue, more to the point, clearer text, and more non-invasive, natural explanations! ...Hopefully making the whole thing feel much less like a tutorial, and more like an actual first Operation.

  • MAJOR Improvements & Optimizations to the "Text Reveal" Effect! A final look to it, at last. I think I've finally managed to stop touching this thing now...

  • Major Improvements & Fixes to Global Statistics.

  • New Max FPS & Windowed Resolution Options!

  • Visual Improvements to Fallen Meteorites.

  • Major Cursor Precision & Mouse Usability Improvements.

  • General Readability Improvements across the whole game.

  • MAJOR Fixes to Terrain Generation, Unit Stats, Tooltips, Context Menu, Steam Initialization, and more! Unit Stats in particular should now actually update properly whenever I make balance changes... which would've been nice to have before, lol.

  • General QOL Improvements. A shit ton of them, as always... far too many to even list here.

... And we're done! I was thinking about what really should I do with the Company tab and I've finally figured it out! Well, it was always meant to be a customization hub, but the pieces never did quite fit together up until now. It's still to be potentially expanded in the future (with perhaps a customizable company logo/banner as well), so do keep an eye open for that! That was basically the big thing out of the Update, although I still do consider a lot of the QOL & Balance Changes done quite crucial for leaving a good impression for newer players, so hopefully that it'll do. With yet another influx of reviews (shoutout to PlayQuest) and more creators covering the game, it looks like I'm getting closer and closer to finally cracking the toughest nut of them all: the beginner UX of Endless Tactics.

HIGHLIGHTS

Ship Customization! ... Pretty cool right?

As always, most of the feedback gathered and addressed from our Reddit.

Major update30 Aug 2026The Induction (Pre-Release) Update - 1.0.0.5*67*With the launch of Trial Run , I've been quite busy the last few weeks to say the least... Doing what I enjoy the most, of course - fixing player issues; with lots of optimizations as dessert! Special thanks to Merly23, one of our commissioned artists, who took his time to review and write detailed feedback on the points of attriction for the beginner UX (I'm starting to sense a pattern here...…In-game event13 Aug 2026Endless Tactics: Trial Run is out now!Hey everyone, Endless Tactics: Trial Run is now live! With a particularly stacked up batch of improvements to make up for it (I hope). I'm was finally able to get a substantial influx of feedback going (like with the last Update, but even more so now), and needless to say that has helped a lot to point me to the next item of the never-ending "TODO" list - which just a while ago was completely empty... Shout out to bot…
