Build Update: v1.0.1

Simple Squares · published 4 Oct 2026, 19:42 UTC · build 25714421

Thanks to everyone who played launch week and sent in bug reports, it really helped. Here's what's fixed:

"Complete every level" achievement now unlocks properly. If you've already beaten every official level, it'll unlock the next time you launch the game.
Level 1 red bridge: no more little hop when you walk onto it.
One-way platforms no longer refill your jumps or wall jumps when you pass up through them.
Vertical arrow walls: you can still jump off them, but they can no longer be climbed forever without the Wall Jump power-up. Your first jump off a wall each time you're in the air is free; extra ones use your Wall Jump charges.
Lobby: the "waiting for host" text no longer overlaps the Ready button.
Group Challenge: resetting your test run during the build phase now clears any power-ups you picked up.

Level 1 star times relaxed: 3-star and 2-star times are 15 seconds longer, in both solo and co-op.
Level builder: a clicker block's max-clicks area can now grow downward when there's no room above.
Background performance: the game drops to 30 FPS while it's in the background or minimized.
Display settings: the "Fullscreen" option is now called "Borderless", which is what it always was.

Everyone needs the same version to join each other. If you can't join a friend, make sure you've both updated (restarting Steam forces it).

Keep the reports coming: press F2 in-game to send one.
