I'm very happy to announce Simple Squares is now available on Steam!
This has been a crazy (but fun!) game to develop and I hope you all feel inspired to be creative like I did!=
What is it?
Simple Squares is a blend of classic platforming with worker placement mechanics, boiled down to its most base elements. Starting as the smallest block possible, you must optimize your route through the levels, grabbing the best blocks and upgrades and finding the most direct path to the final objective to get the best times.
It supports multiplayer as well (both online and couch) and online lobbies up to 16 people in size. Cooperate to clear some difficult times or challenge each other in head-to-head modes.
What's next?
I'm not done with Simple Squares! I'll continue to add official levels in batches and be sure to keep an eye out for new things for the multiplayer. More ways to mess with your friends is always welcome in games I've found. And finally, thank you all for being a part of this game! I'm eager to see what people create!
